Sorry- All of the pack of four were a very large-bubbled type of pumice that is not as good as the finer texturedpumice for use on human skin. They were rough and had a tendency to have bits fall off. Perhaps it was just bad luck that this batch of stone was like this- but I would expect better quality control. Also the attached cord is cotton so does not dry easily and if you use this often and keep it by your bath, you may end up with a never-drying cord that begins to harbor mold. This is the best pumice stone that I've ever owned. It's actually quite heavy and takes a while to dry but it works really well on my heels. Mine has not been crumbly. It's not too rough and not too smooth. The edges are even rougher if you need that. I'll be buying another one for traveling. This is a 4-pack of pumice stones for a great price. They work perfectly, and the fabric tie is nice - you can hang it in your shower rather than having it sit on a shelf where you risk growing mold. I like to take my shower, and at the end after my feet have been soaking up water, use the pumice stone right before i get out. Works great! Would definitely buy again! |
