What concerned me most were the few reviews from people who said it didn't work. I thought that either they were lying or all the other posters who said it worked great were lying. Well, the truth lies somewhere in between. I followed all of the directions to a tee, then waited for the peeling to begin. It never happened. I was on the fifth day and nothing, my feet were simply dry. So then I went back and read the reviews here again and decided to follow the advice of one poster who said that you needed to soak your feet in some olive oil and dish soap. And, that's when the peeling began. But, it's a lot of work. I had to soak my feet each night for 5 more days before I was able to peel off all the dried skin. But, this product made my feet new again, even the skin around the toes, the sides and the top of my foot came off with my help. I would pay $60 every month or two for a pedicure that supposedly treated calloused feet. Although improved, they were never baby smooth, and turned rough again within a week. Based on the reviews on Amazon and elsewhere, I decided to give Baby Foot a try. It's basically an acid peel for the feet, and since I routinely use an acid peel for the face with great results, I thought I'd give it a go. I was dubious at first - it took a little over a week for the peeling to start - but once it did, my baby feet slowly and painlessly began to emerge. It's been three months of happy feet, and I am starting to feel a few rough patches. I will be treating with Baby Foot again. I routinely recommend this product to friends. Just amazing. Gently, no aroma, a good excuse for putting your feet up for two hours and watching a movie! |
